Abstract

С помощью какого языка мы говорим о Холокосте, и какую функцию выполняет этот язык? На эти вопросы пытается дать ответы книга Елены Суботич «Yellow Star, Red Star: Holocaust Remembrance after Communism». На примере Сербии, Хорватии и Литвы автор показывает, как посткоммунистические страны выстраивали – и выстраивают по сей день – политику национальной идентичности на основе самосознания «жертвы», используя для этого визуальный язык памяти о Холокосте.
