Abstract

Изданная Государственным музеем истории российской литературы имени Владимира Даля монография кандидата культурологии Виктора Зайцева посвящена судьбе творческого наследия Антона Чехова в советское время. Центральной темой книги стали механизмы культурной канонизации идеологически неудобного классика, чей образ в СССР претерпел сложную трансформацию от чуждого пролетариату писателя в 1920-х до «товарища классика» в 1950-х годах.
