Abstract

Анализ взаимоотношений между культурно-ценностными ориентирами и легитимностью политической власти в России представляет собой актуальную тему. Рецензируемая книга отражает не только академический интерес ее составителей, но отвечает на значимые вопросы о природе консервативного поворота в России, наблюдаемого в период правления Владимира Путина. Авторы сборника предлагают рассмотреть эту проблему через инструментализацию традиционных ценностей, которые наполняются различными смыслами и используются для оправдания выбранного политического курса. Изменения, происходящие во внутренней и внешней политике страны, находят свое отражение в механизмах консолидации российского общества вокруг консервативных антизападных настроений, поддерживаемых политической элитой. Отличительная черта сборника заключается в том, что его авторы ставят в центр внимания не только анализ содержания традиционных ценностей, но и описание способов по воспроизводству и закреплению их в обществе.
