Abstract

Монография Анны Швенк «Гибкий авторитаризм: культивируя амбиции и лояльность в России» в год ее выхода получила премию Мэри Дуглас – награду Американской социологической ассоциации за лучшую работу по социологии культуры. В основу книги положены наблюдения, сделанные автором в 2013 году в ходе полевого исследования в двух летних лагерях-форумах молодежных лидеров в Красноярском крае и Саха-Якутии. Выросшая из успешно защищенной PhD диссертации, обсуждаемая монография стала результатом осмысления этого материала сквозь призму литературы из разных исследовательских полей. По стечению обстоятельств я была одной из тех, с кем Швенк, готовясь к полевому исследованию, обсуждала свои планы. Тогда, в 2012–2013 годах, идея немецкой аспирантки стать участницей молодежного лагеря-форума, чтобы провести включенное наблюдение такой практики политической социализации, не выглядела экзотической и оказалась вполне осуществимой. Правда, за время, потребовавшееся для завершения этого проекта, многое изменилось, и книга местами напоминает путешествие на машине времени.
