Abstract

В своей новой книге известный историк Марина Могильнер представляет фундаментальное исследование физической антропологии в России конца XIX и начала XX веков. Это богатый и малоисследованный материал, существенная часть интеллектуальной истории заката империи. В международной истории российской социальной науки таким дисциплинам, как психология, социология и этнография было уделено гораздо больше внимания, чем физической антропологии.
