Abstract

В прошлом году издательство «Новое литературное обозрение» опубликовало в серии «Библиотека журнала “Неприкосновенный запас”» перевод книги «Грабеж и спасение: российские музеи в годы Второй мировой войны», вышедшей пятью годами ранее на немецком языке (Kuhr-Korolev et al. 2019). Сборник, подготовленный командой историков из Германии и России и ставший результатом большого совместного проекта, известен специалистам еще в оригинальном издании (см. Тимофеева 2020). Однако русский перевод, вышедший в 2024 году, все же обрел новый спектр значений и читается сегодня иначе, чем немецкоязычный оригинал несколько лет назад. Почти трехсотстраничный том, посвященный истории институтов наследия военного времени, превратился в памятник долгосрочному и невероятно насыщенному международному сотрудничеству – сотрудничеству, которое сегодня само по себе кажется почти невероятным. Хочется верить, что это издание станет маяком и примером для подражания, а не печальным монументом на кладбище почивших с миром проектов.
